Our Partners

Blue Siren Shellfish

Blue Siren Shellfish

Blue Siren Shellfish is an Oregon-based, independently owned fish company focused on celebrating and sharing the local harvest supported by Oregon’s wild ocean and network of estuaries and bays. We are a tiny operation – one 24′ boat with a two-person crew – but we also work closely with other day-boat, local fishermen who share similar values and sustainable harvest techniques, to bring more of Oregon’s bounty to your table.  Our wild-harvested products are generally caught to order and featured seasonally at select local restaurants and retailers.

Our own boat is an updated riff on the modern Pacific City Dory:  F/V Storm Trooper was designed and built in 2015 by our own hands in Brighton, Oregon.

Moon River Farm

Moon River Farm

At Moon River Farm we believe in growing food in a way that supports all of the living systems that surround and support our farm. This means that we employ practices that allow us to grow food without the use of pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, or any other “-icides.” We utilize low-till/no-till practices and reduce our reliance on fossil fuels by farming primarily by hand. We use organic practices including cover cropping, composting, interplanting, and integrated pest management. We feel strongly about providing our wonderful coastal community with locally grown fresh food.

VISIT

Low Tide Farms

Brenda & Kathleen raise heritage breed hogs on pasture in Clatskanie, OR with all the love in the world, ensuring the highest quality of life for their animals. Stewards of our earth, they only use the most sustainable and healthy practices for their pastures and pigs, never using sub-therapeutic antibiotics, hormones, growth promoters or unnecessary drugs on their animals. Driven by the challenge of accessing high quality local food, they work hard to get their products where they need to be and help many others in the community do the same.

Kathleen’s made it her life’s work to protect the forests, communities and natural resources as a wildland firefighter. Brenda has a belief that we can put an end to food insecurity. Together, they believe they can fulfill their passions by respecting and fostering the health of the land, the animals they care for and the people who eat their food.

Nehalem River Ranch

Nehalem River Ranch

The 100 acre ranch is home to a rich diversity of flora and fauna and good land stewardship principals are central to our ranch operations. We raise all of our livestock humanely on pasture at our farm where paddocks are buffered from riparian areas and are managed using intensive rotations and a holistic planned grazing system. The food we produce is not only healthier, but better for the environment as natural, grass-based farming uses fewer fossil fuels, does not introduce chemicals or hormones into the environment or your food, decreases tillage and returns natural fertility to the soil.

JAndy Oyster Company

JAndy Oyster Company

JAndy Oyster Company has been growing oysters since 2012. The beach-grown oysters are raised in beautiful Netarts Bay, Oregon, and picked by hand. JAndy Oysters are some of the best in the world, primarily due to good farming practices and spending their life nestled in one of the nation’s cleanest estuaries.
Todd Perman is a first-generation oyster farmer and the owner of the JAndy Oyster Company. His son Jacob is the namesake and ‘CEO’ of the company and is often found doing homework or helping around the shop. We are a working processing facility, as well as a newly remodeled oyster bar serving a variety of local delicacies.
Our goal is to have zero waste from our operation. That includes everything from planting new larvae on the reused shell – to harvesting, shucking, and processing our oysters before we deliver to our customers.

Oregon Seaweed

Oregon Seaweed is a proud pioneer of a sustainably grown, carbon-negative sea vegetable on the Oregon coast. Located in Garibaldi, OR and looking towards an environmentally friendly future of food, we are excited to be providing the Northern Oregon Coast with this sustainable superfood.

Forage & Farm

Forage & Farm was born out of the forests of the Pacific Northwest. Starting from family traditions and secret foraging locations passed down from generation to generation. We gather fresh, unique, and gourmet wild ingredients including mushrooms, berries, and greens for world renowned chefs and home chefs alike. Sustainability is important to us, so we only harvest using methods that promote, preserve, and expand our precious wild resources. We love what we do, and that is reflected in our reliability and the quality of our products.
